MOT has been updated
The MOT service has been updated. The new MOT Online service includes three different language services. The new user interface contains own tabs for every service: Dictionaries, Proofing and Translation. By clicking these tabs, you are able to use the different services. The update does not require any technical actions from you.
New services
MOT Dictionaries is a dictionary service. Some changes have been made to the dictionary user interface but the basic use will remain the same:
1. Choose the dictionary in which you want to search from
2. Write the word you are looking for in the Search for field and start the search by clicking the Search button or by pressing Enter.
3. MOT displays translations, useful grammatical information as well as examples of use.
MOT Proofing is a proofreading service. It corresponds to the MOT Language Checker which has been offered in our service selection. In the new MOT Online service, MOT Proofing is brought to a more noticeable place. At the moment, our selection includes a proofreading service which checks English texts.
MOT Translation is a machine translation service. The Finnish-English machine translation service corresponds to the WebTranSmart service which has been offered in our service selection. At the moment, our selection includes Finnish-English and English-Finnish machine translation services.
