In Kielikone’s MOT dictionary solution, Kielikone offers dictionaries from different publishers in the same user interface. Kielikone’s customer base consists of large, medium and small businesses, government entities, as well as educational institutions, all of which continually need high-quality dictionaries.

To ensure that customers always find the right dictionaries to fulfill their needs from MOT’s selection, Kielikone is constantly looking for new high-quality dictionaries to add to MOT, as well as searching for new dictionary publishers for both local and global cooperation. Kielikone’s MOT dictionary solution provides an easy way for the dictionary publisher to bring the dictionary content into a digital form, as it offers a possibility to offer dictionaries on Windows, intranet, Internet and mobile platforms.

Kielikone values long term partnerships. New ways to deepen and develop cooperation are explored, i.e. by evaluating new content interesting to customers. Kielikone is willing to implement the newest content also to new technology platforms, such as iPhone.

Oxford University Press is perhaps the most diverse publisher of its kind. It publishes in many countries in a variety of different languages, at all levels, and across virtually the whole range of academic disciplines. Oxford is among the leading publishers of English Language Teaching books and materials, complemented by a respected list of titles in linguistics and pedagogical theory.

Oxford University Press is particularly famous for its dictionaries and reference works. Oxford publishes a comprehensive range of dictionaries and thesauruses of current English, as well as a wide variety of bilingual dictionaries.

As Oxford University Press dictionaries are well-known for their excellent quality, Kielikone’s customers have asked for them to be offered as a part of MOT. To meet this need, Kielikone and Oxford University Press have begun a co-operation, which enables Kielikone to license Oxford content and add the prestigious Oxford brand to MOT’s dictionary selection on all four platforms: Windows, intranet, Internet and mobile.

Kielikone converts the content of the Oxford University Press dictionaries into MOT format. Before launching the MOT Oxford dictionaries, they are sent to Oxford University Press for final approval.

In the future, co-operation between Kielikone and Oxford University Press will be deepened through the launch of new, interesting content within MOT. MOT offers Oxford University Press yet another digital channel to provide their dictionaries to customers.
