MOT Kotus Finnish-Estonian Comprehensive Dictionary

MOT Finnish-Estonian Comprehensive Dictionary is a large Finnish-Estonian dictionary with plenty of up-to-date vocabulary as well as specialist terminology from different domains. The dictionary contains a wealth of usage examples with translations complete with frequent colloquial expressions. The inflections of the Finnish headwords are given in the entries while the inflectional data of the Estonian translation equivalents can be found in a separate morphological dictionary. The user guide of the dictionary contains important grammatical information such as descriptions of the inflectional types of Finnish and Estonian and the inflection of pronouns, and a selection of place names. MOT Finnish-Estonian Comprehensive Dictionary contains over 190 000 entries and its supplement, the MOT Kotus Morphological Dictionary of Estonian Translations, contains more than 35 000 entries. The MOT Finnish-Estonian Comprehensive Dictionary is based on the Finnish-Estonian Dictionary published by the Research Institute for the Languages of Finland and the Institute of the Estonian Language in 2003.
